Interface meet on “Implementation of One Health Surveillance strategy for control of emerging public health threats”

The Centre for One Health Education, Advocacy, Research and Training of Veterinary University, Wayanad, Kerala is organizing one day interface meet on “Implementation of One Health Surveillance strategy for control of emerging public health threats” from March 20th 2018 at Veterinary University, Pookode, Wayanad. The target audiences are medical doctors from government sector, physicians from tertiary hospitals, veterinarians,epidemiologist, entomologist and other professionals from Kerala. The aim of the interface meet is to raise awareness on how to face the emerging public health challenges by implementing One Health Surveillance program thereby integrating knowledge across disciplines, sectors and institutions. The interface meet is a one day certificate programme organized by COHEART in association with International Society for Disease Surveillance and is envisaged to provide a platform for interaction of health and allied health professionals on sensitizing the importance of One Health Surveillance initiatives. Dr. Martin Hitziger and Dr. John Berezowski from International Society for Disease Surveillance are our resource persons.
