Interim BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The One Health Commission (OHC) announces an open call for nominations and applications for individuals to serve on its Board of Directors. Nominate someone who you think would be a good leader for the OHC, or apply yourself.

Candidates are sought who can span multiple disciplines and who have experience with engaging community voices. We require at least one representative from each of these essential domains:
Environmental
Human
Other Animal
Plant
Individuals with expertise and/or experience in research, teaching, policy and/or practice in one or more of the following disciplines are encouraged to apply: anthropology, biology, communications, ecology, economics, engineering, epidemiology, ethics, health (human, other animal, plant, environment/ecosystem), law, political science, psychology, sociology, and welfare/wellbeing.

How to Apply:
- Review the full Call for Applications containing expanded information.
- Download and complete the Application Form (Word Doc)
- Follow detailed instructions in the Call and on the Application Form to Submit your Application Packet (merged pdfs of the Application Form, your CV and two reference letters) via this Online Submission Portal.
The OHC is committed to building a Board that reflects geographic, gender, disciplinary, and sectoral diversity, with meaningful international representation. Decisions on who will be invited to serve will be based on needed expertise and on domain, discipline and global regions representation.
Nominees will receive an email inviting them to submit the same application form and materials that Direct Applicants are submitting. No applications will be evaluated until the call is closed.
Deadline to Submit Applications:
The deadline to apply has been extended to at least March 1, 2026 to provide time for late nominees to apply.

The One Health Commission is committed to fostering diversity on our Board, reflecting the breadth of our work across disciplines, sectors, genders, races, ethnicities, and geographic regions. We particularly welcome applications from professionals in low- and middle-income countries and those from underrepresented communities in global One Health leadership.
