SPEAKERS

Dr. Edward Breitschwerdt, DVM is a leading Bartonella researcher. With over 300 peer-reviewed publications Dr. Breitschwerdt is an internationally recognized leader in Bartonella research, diagnosis and treatment.   Since 1984, he has been the co-director of the Vector Borne Disease Diagnostic Laboratory at North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine where he has been studying Bartonella in animals and humans.  In addition to his research at NC State, Dr. Breitschwerdt maintains a rigorous schedule of international presentations on Bartonella.

Dr. Ann F. Corson received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.  She completed residency training in Internal Medicine, Neurology and Family Medicine, and she became Board certified in Integrative Medicine in 2011.  Since 2003, her private practice office in Chester County, PA has been devoted to treating tick-borne diseases.
 
Dr. B. Robert Mozayeni is a rheumatologist with graduate and post-graduate physician-scientist training from Albany Medical College, Yale University, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and the National Institutes of Health.  In 2012, Dr. Mozayeni co-authored a study performed on 296 of his rheumatology patients in which over 61% were found to be harboring an active Bartonella infection.  Under an ongoing collaboration with Dr. Breitschwerdt, Dr. Mozayeni maintains an observational clinical evaluation of the significance of Bartonella infection in a cohort of several hundred patients with otherwise unexplained chronic conditions.  His private practice is located in Bethesda, Maryland.
