Information We Collect
We may collect information (including name, address, telephone number, email address, transaction information, credit card information and date of birth) when you:
- Request to become a donor / sponsor of the One Health Commission at any sponsorship level.
We maintain the data that you provide us, along with a record of payment, in a secure database. Online donations using PayPal meet Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) privacy standards.
We may also gather information about how visitors navigate through our Web site by using clickstream data gathered with "cookies" and other online tools such as "pixel tags." See Cookies and Pixel Tags for further information.
Using Information We Collect
At the One Health Commission, we always want to provide you with the best means to stay abreast of what is happening in the One Health movement. To do this, we collect information that allows us to:
- Process your level of sponsorship
- Provide responses to feedback
- Contact you about the status of a request to be a sponsor
- Send you information regarding One Health events and opportunities
- Customize our communications to you
Information We Share with Others and Your Privacy Rights
We contract with other companies (like PayPal, GoToWebinar and Constant Contact listserv provider) to provide certain services. We provide these companies with only the information they need to perform their services and work closely with them to ensure that your privacy is respected and protected. These companies are prohibited by contract from using this information for their own marketing purposes or from sharing this information with anyone other than One Health Commission.
On rare occasions, we may disclose specific information upon governmental request, in response to a court order, or when required by law to do so. We may also share information with companies assisting in fraud protection or investigation. We do not provide information to these agencies or companies for marketing or commercial purposes.
Cookies and Pixel Tags
A cookie is a small data file stored by your Web browser on your computer.
We also use pixel tags – tiny graphic images – to tell us what parts of our Web site you have visited or to measure the effectiveness of any searches you may do on our site. Pixel tags also enable us to send you email in a format you can read.
We may also contract with other companies who use cookies or other online tools such as pixel tags. We prohibit these companies from using this information for their own marketing purposes or from sharing this information with anyone other than One Health Commission
How We Use Email
When you provide us your email address, we will email you as necessary to process your sponsorship or donation or respond to a request. If you selected in the privacy settings to allow email notifications you will receive information regarding One Health events, information or opportunities. At any time if you want to opt out or change your settings you can email us at ohc@onehealthcommission.org.
The One Health Commission will never sell your contact information to any other entity.
Links to Other Sites
Occasionally we provide links on our Web site to other sites to provide dynamic information on One Health information or events. These sites operate independently of The One Health Commission and have established their own privacy and security policies. For the best online experience, we strongly encourage you to review these policies at any site you visit.

Security
It is our intent to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you or received from a partner. We use a variety of current technologies and processes for protection of our sponsor data. We limit the information we provide to outside companies with whom we contract to only what they need to carry out their responsibilities. It is our practice to use encryption whenever we receive or transmit sensitive data.
Refunds and Return Policy
Refunds are not applicable for our sponsorship services.
