This day-long One Health-oriented workshop is hosted by NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center and The Wilson Center Science and Innovation Technology Program. Through keynote speakers, panel discussions, and focused group discussions, participants will learn about current research using NASA Earth-observing satellite (EOS) data to better understand and respond to global vector-borne and water-related disease threats. Public health professionals will share the resources that are currently being used to prevent and control vector-borne and water-related disease and discuss their needs with respect to the potential use of EOS data in this arena. Additionally, participants will learn about ongoing Citizen Science and Outreach activities that are under way and receive information on how to become involved in these efforts.
