One Health Day is an international campaign launched in November 2016, co-coordinated by the One Health Commission, the One Health Initiative Autonomous pro bono Team and the One Health Platform Foundation. The goal of One Health Day is to bring attention around the world to the need for One Health interactions and for the world to 'see them in action'. The One Health Day campaign is designed to engage as many individuals as possible from as many arenas as possible in One Health education and awareness events, and to generate an inspiring array of projects worldwide. If you know someone planning and implementing a One Health Day event any time of the year, (only competing student events must fall within a certain time frame) please ask them to register their event (even after the fact) to 'get on the map'. (https://goo.gl/p81doo). We know there are many events being held around the world that are not registered and pinned on the map because we are seeing them discussed on OH Day Facebook and Twitter.
