Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) Head-quarters. Event will examine how U.S. and International policies aim to reduce risk of a health crisis like the 1918 Influenza pandemic while also addressing how these policies translate into practice in high-risk countries through collaboration between animal and human health professionals and institutions. Takes place on the eve of the opening of the Smithsonian’s new National Museum of Natural History’s exhibit, “Outbreak: Epidemics in a Connected World”. Symposium is Free but you must Register .
