On 10th October 2012, during the meeting of the General Assembly of World Medical Association (WMA) in Bangkok, WVA President, Dr. Kechrid and WMA President, Dr. Wilson signed the WVA-WMA Memorandum of Understanding. WVA and WMA agreed to collaborate in the One-Health concept, which is a unified approach to veterinary and human medicine in order to improve Global Health.
